Emma Baynes

Emma Baynes

Medical Herbalist

Herbal Medicine is the use of whole plant preparations and records of its use date back over 2,000 years. It is still the major form of medicine for around 80% of the world's population.

Medical Herbalists aim to address the root of the problem and treat the individual person, rather than dealing with symptoms alone, and aim to enable you to break the cycle of poor health. They are trained in the same diagnostic skills as orthodox doctors, yet have a more holistic approach to health care. Herbal medicines support the bodies natural healing processes which means they can bring about a deep and lasting change.

Emma became a Herbalist by completing a four year honours degree in herbal medicine at Middlesex University. She joined the National Institute of Medical Herbalists in 2005, which is the oldest professional organisation of practising medical herbalists worldwide and provides continued professional development for its members.

Chichester Natural Health Centre practitioner Steve Chester

Steve Chesters

Naturopath and Osteopath

BSc (Hons) in Osteopathic Medicine. D.O,ND, M.R.N and a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, Life Systems &
Steve qualified with a degree in Chemistry, Life Systems & Pharmaceuticals. His interest in
Naturopathy & Osteopathy was inspired by his own successful treatment in the early 1990’s. Since
then he has qualified as a Naturopath and Osteopath.
“ My role is to identify mechanical, biochemical and psychological imbalances in people, and help
them to make positive changes to improve their health.”
Symptoms such as pain are your body’s way of telling you it’s out of balance and are often due to a
number of seemingly unrelated factors. Steve uses Laboratory tests including food intolerance and
bowel testing, Applied Kinesiology, and other advanced diagnostic techniques to ascertain the
underlying imbalances causing your symptoms.

Once Steve has established what’s causing the imbalances an integrated programme of natural
therapies is used to correct them , relieve the symptoms and help you feel better. Therapies include osteopathy, cranial osteopathy, homeopathy, nutritional medicine and deep neuromuscular
massage. Each therapy is matched to your specific needs and delivered in a controlled and measured way so you are assured of good progress.

Our therapists aim to address the root of a problem, rather than dealing with symptoms and therefore enabling your to break the cycle of poor health.
